On St Patrick’s Day weekend 40,000ha of farming land was burnt in several locations in South West Victoria. Upwards of 4,000 head of stock perished and 18 homes were lost.
To support the local community and those affected, a fundraising evening on next Saturday April 21st has been organised to raise funds for “Need for Feed” and BlazeAid to deliver much needed fodder and fencing gear to the fire impacted areas.
Please join in for a night at the Colac Bowls club where a raffle and auction will be held featuring some great prizes. FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR ONLY $50 door charge as well as live music and ALL funds will be used to purchase animal feed. Entry will also entitle each ticket holder to raffle tickets. There will be a huge number of fantastic auction items up for grabs too.
Buses will be running from Warrnambool, Terang, and Camperdown, for only $10 and will require booking.
