George Cain was an early settler who arrived in Australia in 1837. He married Ann Erskine in 1858 in Camperdown, where they had 11 children and built the cottage in 1860 which still stands today, at 68 Manifold Street.
The cottage itself is quite dilapidated and is certainly a major project for someone, yet one that can deliver some wonderful rewards.
